Bragg Creek

Acrylic on canvas | 9" x 12" x 1" by Victoria Zyluk

In Bragg Creek, Victoria Zyluk invites viewers into a sunlit forest where serenity and strength intertwine. A white-barked tree anchors the foreground, its luminous trunk catching golden light amid soft grasses and scattered shadows. To the right, a stand of evergreens rises with quiet dignity, their dark silhouettes contrasting the vibrancy below. Beyond, a rocky hillside emerges—weathered and wild—framed by dense foliage and a clear blue sky.

This intimate landscape captures the spirit of Alberta’s foothills: resilient, radiant, and deeply rooted. Zyluk’s brushwork evokes both texture and tenderness, offering a moment of stillness in nature’s embrace.
